Match report of Kolkata Knight Riders and Bangalore Royal Challengers

Kolkata Knight Riders won their first home match in 2010 IPL by defeating Bangalore Royal Challengers.After wining the toss Sourav send Bangalore to bat.It was Charl Langavelt who took the first wicket of Bangalore Royal Challengers.Sourav captaincy was again great to watch.He made some pefect bowling changes to send the Royals batsmant in the dugout.Angelo Mathews took 4 wickets by giving only 19runs in his 4 overs.He took the important wicket of Rahul Dravid.Ishant Sharma,Murali Kartik and Langavelt give him a good support.Kartik picked up 2 wickets,Langavelt took 1 wicket and Ishant Sharma was wicket less though he bowled very well.Challengers were restricted to a total of 135 in their 20 overs.Riders Openers started the innings in bang.Manoj Tiwary scored a fine half century in just 29 balls.Brad Hodge also scored a half century.Tiwary and Hodge put up a hundred partnership before Tiwary getting out to Van de Merwe.Hodge was also dismmised by Merwe after just completing his half century.Then Pujara and Ganguly made a small partnership before Ganguly getting out to Pravven Kumar when Riders needed only 3 runs for victory.Owasis Shah takes Riders to victry with 4 balls to spare.It was Knight Riders who played good cricket throughout the game and won it by 7 wickets.
